It's easy to assume and question the capabilities of new people we meet based on factors like their age, gender, ethnicity, title, credentials and appearance. These prevent us from discovering and engaging who they actually are. Growing relationships of integrity and trust depends on our ability to see and hear beyond what our inner voices might be suggesting.
