How Many Leaders Does It Take To Run An Organization?

If the organization is poorly designed, it takes as many layers and divisions of leaders as budgets afford. Poor design means things get done by emails, meetings, top down imposition and focus on deficiencies. When decision making and communication is shared, people feel free to take initiative and collaborate and the focus is on strengths, the organization thrives with limited leadership who act primarily as facilitators and storytellers.
