storytelling in decision making

Interesting conversation today about the place of storytelling in medicine where a conclusion was that storytelling particularly facilitates better clinical decision making. We're talking here about the patient and physician stories as they emerge and intersect. 

Storytelling can be a compelling tool for decision making in any contexts. It's a possibility worthy of more exploration.
