Why Conversations Make The Difference

I could argue that we will see the quality of relationships, all kinds, on the planet grow to the extent that we all learn how to have more connecting conversations. We're already good at banter, functional  and tense conversations.

Having more technical access to each other apparently doesn't always equate to more quality connections.  In the upcoming book I'm talking about connecting conversations as those characterized by mutual personal interest in each other, the way each of us thinks, feels, knows, dreams and wonders. It is this quality of interest that opens space for shared trust, feeling heard and understood.

My proposal is that we would see generosity and compassion increase and isolation and violence decrease when people learn how to have connecting conversations with others they know and don't know. Imagine if every gun, drug and charity were replaced by countless connecting conversations.
