Do Startups (Really) Need Business Plans?

If they are exercises in planning actions based on predictive assumptions, no. Startups need to be continuously non-assumption and realistic. This comes more from questions than commitments based on predictions. It's about getting our questions right rather than trying to convert ourselves and investors or funders to be a unrealistic as we are.
