Jack Ricchiuto
Jack is an activist writer, working from the science-based principle that all transformation is linguistic. He is a 38-time author and originator of the Pathway Conversations™ framework for organizations and communities seeking the common good.
He coined the term “network weaver” in his collaboration with June Holley on her groundbreaking and celebrated work on network weaving. His global and local work with organizations and communities has spanned over four decades, including with dozens of business sectors as well as urban and rural communities.
His work is inspired by neuroscience, social network science, Liberating Structures. neurolinguistics, ontological transformation, Open Space Technology, and the work of Peter Block. With Jane Rogan, he is co-founder of Third Floor Design.
His Substack is dedicated to applications and implications of the Pathway Conversations™ framework. His latest book is “Engaged Curiosity: A guide to realistic planning in organizations and communities” and his next is “The Hidden Life of Words: The unconscious power of language in everyday life.”
Jack has taught leadership, question-based planning, design thinking, storytelling, and entrepreneurship in undergraduate, graduate, and post-doc programs, including Harvard, Vanderbilt, UC Berkeley, Kent State, and John Carroll Universities.
Jack lives in Historic Hudson OH in the Brandywine Creek Watershed. His given African name is Sekou, Wise man. His personal interests include writing, cooking, gardening, hiking, and passion projects.
